With the Kickstarter campaign surpassing the $ 1M mark, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which started as only a PC title, will now be available on consoles as well. Players will also get to build a cafeteria in their town that can be staffed by the characters you recruit, and who is working in that establishment will determine the kinds of recipes you can learn. With it being a spiritual successor, Eiyuden will feature 100 recruitable characters, a 6-character battle system and a visual style that mixes 2D sprites with 3D backgrounds, which reminds us of how 2018’s Ocotopath Traveler was presented.Įiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will also feature Fortress Town, allowing players to build their own town that will not only act as the party’s base of operations but will be home for the many characters you’ve recruited in the game. It’s pretty exciting as Suikoden fans have been hoping for a new entry to the beloved JRPG franchise and Eiyuden Chronicle is the kind of project they were waiting for.
